Fair
Wind
Sailing
School
announces the addition of a 45 foot Leopard catamaran to its instructional and charter sailing fleet in the
Virgin Islands
. This will be the first and only catamaran used to provide ASA sailing instruction in the
Virgin Islands
. "We are thrilled to be able to offer this option to our students," commented David Bello, President of Fair Wind Sailing Inc. "This is an ideal vessel for sailing instruction and is perfectly designed for sailing in the Virgin Islands,"
Bello
continued. "Fair Wind is pleased to continue our leadership position offering the best sailing instruction available anywhere."
Fair Wind will primarily utilize the vessel primarily for its week-long, live-aboard Instant Bareboater class which provides ASA Certification from beginning through ASA 104, bareboat chartering in a one-week, on-board setting. "Our goal is to teach people how to bareboat charter on the boats they would most like to charter. The Leopard 45 is quite possibly the best charter cat around,"
Bello
added. In addition, Fair Wind will make the cat available for both crewed and bareboat charters year-round in the
Virgin Islands
.
The Leopard 45, also known as the Moorings 4500 was specifically designed to be used as a charter vessel and is a past winner of the "Charter Boat of the Year" award. The Leopard 45 is equipped with 4 double berths each with a private 4 head. It also has a large galley, comfortable cockpit and twin engines. Fair Wind will further equip the Leopard 45 with its standard list of cruising equipment and water toys.
