There is nothing like a blue water ocean passage, truly the top sailing school experience.  Fair Wind Sailing School's ocean passage making opportunities provide the chance to extend your sailing with experienced sailors onboard. Beginning in 2010, Fair Wind is now offering both ASA 107 Celestial Navigation and ASA 108 Ocean Passage Certification. Fair Wind' Sailing School's ocean passage sailing is between our newest sailing base in Abaco, Bahamas and the US East Coast. In the Fall, we travel from Norfolk, VA to the Bahamas and in the Spring we start in the Bahamas and sail to Annapolis. We have also added a glorious Summer trip between Bar Harbor, Maine and Annapolis. Our ocean passages include a 2 day certfication class in ASA 107, Celestial Navigation prior to the trip.
